Liebster Award

I've just been given the Liebster Award from Gabrielle, a very good friend of mine who has a really good writing blog called The Ink Stained Parchment.  If you like writing, you should totally check out her blog!

So to accept this award, I have to state eleven random facts about me, then answer the eleven questions Gabrielle asked me, and then pick eleven friends whose blog has less than two hundred followers and ask them eleven random questions.  Let's start with the eleven random facts, shall we?

1.  My reading list for this summer has about forty-two or forty-three books on it that range from historical fiction to sci-fi to theology to fantasy (I like a lot of different kinds of books).

2.  I sometimes livestream my online gameplay using Twitch.tv (my channel - unoriginally - is EdessaCarrick).

3.  I like fuzzy animals and even go running to hug cute animals in video games.

4.  I don't like hot dogs.  They're just...bleh... *shudders*

5.  On the other hand, homemade apple pie is absolutely AMAZING!  Particularly my mom's.

6.  I'm going to start working on my entry 501st Legion costume hopefully sometime next week.  I want to go as Eleena Daru (from the book Deceived and from one of the SWTOR trailers), but if the lekku start giving me pains then I'll probably switch to Darth Zannah.  I'll definitely keep you posted on the process!

7.  As much as I love dogs, I would love to have a pet sloth or slow loris or koala someday.  They're just so stinkin' cute!

8.  Err...wow, I'm running out of ideas.  Uhhhhhhh...I eat things, I guess?  Like food.  I eat food.  That's kinda random, right?

9.  I LOVE PINTEREST!  LIKE LITERALLY!  IT'S JUST SO AWESOME!  Yeah.

10.  I'm a Communication major, and I'm thinking I'd like to work in the film and/or video game industry for public relations and/or advertising (not sure which yet).

11.  I'm that weird kind of individual that everyone seems to be comfortable with telling me everything, and that's totally ok with me because I really love helping people and giving emotional and physical support whenever I can.  Probably makes sense why I'm a Communication major, right?  =P

And now to answer Gabrielle's questions:

1. Why did you start your blog? (If you already been asked this question and answered it, you don't have to unless you want to).
Well, I have been asked before, but I'll answer anyway.  I started HNED simply because I love video games and movies, and I wanted to share that love with fellow fans.  That's the uber-concise version, but hopefully it still works.

2. Where do you hope to find yourself in five years?  10?
I'd really like to be married in five years, and hopefully before ten years.  Other than that, I'd like to graduate from college and have a career in public relations and/or advertising for some video game or movie production company.  I'm thinking 343 Studios, EA, BioWare, Disney, Warner Bros., or even Microsoft, but we'll see where God leads.  Wherever I end up, though, I definitely want to be a light for Christ to my fellow workers and bosses and then (by extension of working public relations or advertising) the world at large.

3. If you could be in any movie, what movie would it be?
The Lord of the Rings, no questions asked.  I'd wear all the crazy make-up and even be ok with never being seen on-screen, just please, please, puh-leeeeeeeeease let me be in just one little tiny scene!  That would be just so awesome!

4. Are you quiet, shy, or outgoing?
Er, it kinda depends.  I'm very quiet and reserved when I'm around people I don't know (doesn't mean I don't smile or talk to them, but I'm just very careful to not let them see all my craziness because I'm paranoid like that), but I'm very talkative, random, and all around crazy when I'm around people I know.  And if you're really close to me, then you get to see the really deep-rooted fangirl passion that is me.  So, yeah.  It depends on who I'm around and what the situation is.

5. What are you currently reading?
I'm currently reading three books from my reading list: The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis (amazing book), Come Thirsty by Max Lucado (also an amazing book), and Foreigner by C.J. Cherryh.  And I'm always reading the Bible, so I guess that counts, too.

6. Star Trek or Star Wars?
Warsie For Life!  I mean, I love Star Trek, Stargate, and Firefly (working on Dr. Who), but Star Wars is just unbeatable!

7. When you are at the library or movie rental place, do you find yourself reaching for an action/adventure film, romantic, comedy, or documentary?
Action/Adventure is what I go looking for, but honestly there are so few in that genre that can actually meet my high expectations.  Sometimes I can just sit down and watch what I call a "junk movie" (a movie that just exists to entertain and make me eat popcorn compulsively), but most of the time I want to watch a movie with clear messages, a well-thought-out plot, deep and well-rounded characters, complex themes, meaningful cinematography, and immersive acting.  Unfortunately, most Action/Adventure movies are "junk movies," so I usually just end up going for a BBC drama like Little Dorrit, Emma, or Bleak House.  BBC is just amazing like that.

8. Lewis or Tolkien?
Tolkien all the way!  LOTR is my favorite book (after the Bible), and he's just inspired me so much.  I do like Lewis, but really only his books on Christian theology and doctrine.  I mean, Narnia is good, but he just writes better nonfiction than fiction, in my opinion.

9. If you met the Doctor and he said he would take you back in time to any place in history, what period would you choose?
Asking this of a history geek (like me) is like asking a dog what kind of food he prefers.  I think if I had the choice, I'd want to go back to the time of Christ so I could follow Him around on His ministry and get to ask Him some of the questions I have.  Hopefully the Daleks wouldn't follow us, though...

10. Do you watch cop shows?
Only Monk and Castle.  Cop shows really aren't my thing, but I do like those two.

11. Are you into Biblical Archaeology?
I haven't kept up-to-date with any of it, but I do find Biblical Archaeology quite fascinating.  The Dead Sea Scrolls are one of my most favorite discoveries, but any discovery that clearly gives more and more evidence for the truth of the Bible makes me so happy (not like anyone should rely on physical evidence alone, but sometimes it helps for witnessing).

I would now like to give this award to...

Tiberius Shift
James the Movie Reviewer
Helen
Solace Utara
Robyn
Faith
Stilwater
Jessica Greyson
Kelli
Rebecca
Duchess of Mandalore

To accept the award, you just need to state eleven random (or not-so-random) things about yourself, and then answer these questions:

1.  If you could go anywhere in the world for as long as you'd want to, where would you go?
2.  What's your least favorite food?
3.  Biggest pet peeve?
4.  What's the best movie and/or video game and/or tv show you've ever watched/played?
5.  Do you prefer "junk movies" (movies just for enterainment's sake) or deep, complex ones?
6.  What's one of your most favorite memories?
7.  Where do you see yourself in five years?  Ten years?
8.  What is your number one fandom?
9.  Would you rather be stranded on a deserted island with Deadpool or Wolverine?
10.  Describe your room in three words.
11.  What's your dream job?

Thank you, again, for awarding me, Gabrielle!  Hopefully I'll get to see you again sometime soon!  =D

Double Awarded!

I've just received two Blogger awards from some very awesome people! =D

The Shine On Award Rules:

1. Link back to the blogger who nominated you.  Thank you so much, Stilwater
2. Post the badge on your blog. It’s pretty. Do it.
3. Answer the questions posed to you. Regardless of how out-of-left-field they may be.
4. Nominate five bloggers who shine a little light in your day and be sure to notify them.
5. Issue some questions you’d like them to answer.

1.  Has a character death ever made you shed actual tears and cry uncontrollably?
Not yet, no.  =P  I have gotten very close to crying during movies (A Walk to Remember and Courageous, most notably), but I've never actually done it because I hate to cry myself.  So, yeah. Not yet, but I probably will one day sometime in the future.

2.  What are your current favorite songs?
Oh, dear. So many to choose from! Well, right now I'm really liking Remember Me and What Faith Can Do by Kutless, Halo 4: Revival Remix by Butterfly Crash, and the Misty Mountains song from The Hobbit soundtrack.

3.  If you had two million dollars, what would you spend it on?
I'd definitely give a huge chunk of it to the church, then I'd probably pay off my college loans.  If there was any left over, I'd take my family and my two best friends on a trip across Europe.  I'm thinkin' I might need a bit more than two million to do all of that... =)

4.  If you could live in any time period in history, what would it be and why?
Another hard one. Ummm... I think I'd probably live during the time of Roman Emperor Constantine.  Looking back, God did so many amazing things during that period (not that He's not now, but it was during Constantine's rule that Christianity became the official religion of the Roman Empire, two great Christian creeds were written [Nicean and Chalcedon], and so many other cool things happened).  So, yep.  That's where I'd go if I could.

5.  Why did you start your blog/DA page?
Well, originally I had a blog on an online school's social site, but I switched it over to Blogger because I wasn't going to be going to that school any longer due to graduation.  So that was the main reason behind it, but now I continue it to be salt and light to the whole world (Matthew 5:13-16)...and to fangirl occasionally. =)

6.  Do you have a part-time job?  If so, what is it?  Do you like it?
I do have a part-time job.  I work at my college's theater box office, so I reserve tickets for people, answer questions, and hand out tickets on performance nights.  I really like it because it's such a calm job (well, until everybody and his mother starts calling the desk at the same time, but that's a different story), plus I love theater and my boss is the most amazing lady on the planet! It's probably the best job I've had so far.

7.  What museum do you want to visit the most?
Hmmm...I've never really thought about it.  I think I'd probably want to go back to the Huntsville Space Museum.  That was probably the most amazing museum I've ever been to!  I mean, really, it's kind of hard to beat a museum with a real space rocket sitting outside of the building (I got a picture of my siblings standing directly under the engines, so that was pretty sweet).

8.  If you like Star Wars, what are you looking forward to most that's Star Wars-related in the future?
Everything, basically.  More Clone Wars, Underworld, all the film being converted into 3D, new video games, more SWTOR content, J.J Abrams and Disney taking over the franchise, the new movies, and finishing up my Sith outfit so I can finally join the 501st Legion. There's just so many reasons to love Star Wars right now.

And here are the bloggers I'm nominating:

Tiberius Shift

James the Movie Reviewer

Faith

Arda

Savanna

And if you're on that list and decide to accept the award (I won't be hurt if you don't), here are the questions I have for you:

1.  What is your least favorite movie/TV show ever?

2.  Dark, Milk, or White chocolate?

3.  What do you think of Valentine's Day?

4.  If you were stuck on a desert island in the middle of nowhere, would you rather be stuck with Jar Jar Binks or a hungry Ewok?

5.  What was the last book you read?  Did you like it?

6.  What has God been teaching you this year (so far)?

And now for the other award...

1. Display the award logo on your blog.
2. Link back to the person who nominated you. Thank you so much James, Solace, and Stilwater!
3. State 7 things about yourself.
4. Nominate 15 bloggers for this award and link to them.
5. Notify those bloggers of the nomination and the award’s requirements.

So, seven things about myself.  Hmmmm...

1.  I was born in Czech Republic, but even though I am an American and I live in America, I still consider Europe to be home.  I don't completely know why, but that's just how it's been ever since I can remember.

2.  I'm known for making random noises, making up nonsensical words, and inserting random interjections into basically any conversation just because I can.  Actually, I once wrote a dictionary on how-to-speak-Edessa.  I wonder if I still have that...

3.  The very first movie I ever saw at a midnight release was The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.  It's also the only movie I've ever seen at a midnight release, but I'm hoping to do it again with the other two Hobbit movies.

4.  I get writer's block very easily.  Like very extremely easily.  So it's really hard for me to get into writing because inspirational moments only come once in a blue moon.  I'm working on it, though.  I will get that screenplay done whether my writer's block likes it or not.

5.  One day I would like to go to Germany and direct a film there.  I lived in Germany for about three years, I've always loved German culture, and I've been studying the language for about four or five years so far.  Add to that, the Germans are well-known for their very deep films, so I'd love to go there and direct a German film in German.  It would be definitely hard, but it could also be such a wonderful learning experience and a great way to share God's word overseas.

6.  I'm usually very casual and laid-back, but I do occasionally get into moods when I rant for half an hour about something that bothers me or something that I know is very wrong.  It's basically like going into a Hulk mode, due to the raging-ness of it.  Actually, the best way to get me into Hulk mode is to ask me what I think about politics...

7.  One of my best friends just got me hooked on the Firefly TV show, so much so that I think I may create a crusade to bring the show back (or at least help continue the one that's already going on).  Bring back Firefly!

You wanna know what?  I'm gonna give this award to all of my Followers.  You guys are all very inspiring and encouraging to me.  I couldn't have asked for better Followers than the ones I've got.  You guys all rock!

So thank you again to everyone who awarded me! I really appreciate it, and I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed rest of the week!

I Am Baaaaack! (That Was My Terminator Impression)

Wow, it's been a while since I've been on Blogger, but it feels great to finally be back!

Firstly, I wanted to give a huge shoutout to all of the bloggers who posted in my absence last week! Solace, helpusobi1, Helen, James, Stilwater, Padme, I really appreciate your willingness to take time out of your day to guest post on HNED, and all of your posts were absolutely AMAZING! I couldn't have asked for a better guest poster team! Thank you so much! =D

On a non-related note, I was quickly browsing through my Blog Feed in an effort to catch up with, well, everything since my absence, and I was so happy to discover that I've been tagged by Helen at The Life of a Musician and Dancer! I've never been tagged before, so that's my excuse if I don't do this exactly correct, but I'll definitely try my best!

First thing is to post 11 random things about myself.

1. I'm a Grammar Ninja, which is like a Grammar Nazi but more cool.

2. I'm not always a Grammar Ninja 'cause sometimes I likes to talks the wrong way and haz bad speling just 'cause it's fun. =D

3. I'm planning on seeing The Hobbit Part 1 in theaters with my sister, Ahsoka, and my best friend.

4. My favorite Lord of the Rings character is Eomer.

5. While I do watch movies for entertainment, I never turn my brain off and sit there like a sponge. I'm constantly studying the cinematography, lighting, acting, dialogue, action, worldview, literally everything. That tends to bother most people, but that's just how I roll.

6. I. Hate. Bugs. And. Insects. Gaaaaaah! *shudders*

7. When I meet someone new face-to-face, he will generally get the false impression that I'm serious, stoic, and rigid all the time. And then after he gets to know me, he's startled to find out that I'm actually very bubbly, passionate, and borderline insane (the insanity comes after too much chocolate). That's because I'm usually very reserved and cautious around people I don't know or people I have just met. I don't "loosen up" and act like my normal crazy self unless I'm in the presence of my friends and family. So if you ever meet me in real life, just note that I'm really as weird as I am on HNED. lol!

8. Uhhhhhh.... I once created a whole dictionary on "How To Speak Edessa" (since I use a lot of random noises and phrases when I'm talking).

9. Ummmmm.... I guess I draw blanks. A lot. Like right now.

10. Oh! I'm looking into Studying Abroad next Fall! I'm thinking Ireland, Germany, or Brazil right now, but we'll see where God leads me.

11. "Beauty and the Beast" is my favorite fairy tale, and I tend to really love other stories that have a similar storyline.

Now here are the 11 Questions that Helen created:

1. Out of all of the Marvel Super Hero movies you have seen, which one is your favorite and why?Well, I've actually only seen the first Spider-Man movie, though I do really want to see the others as well. Spider-Man was really good as far as I can remember (I haven't seen it in, like, five years), but, yeah, I'm not sure I can actually answer this question accurately.

2. What is your favorite genre of music?
Soundtrack - both film and video game - is probably my favorite genre of music, but I also like Christian Rock (go Kutless and Pillar!), Opera, and oldies. Oh, and I also recently discovered that I really like Dubstep. Butterfly Crash is probably my favorite Dubstep artist. He's on YouTube and Facebook, so you should check him out. He does some awesome Dubstep songs!

3. What is your favorite time of day?
Well lately it's been nighttime so I can finally get to sleep after a long day of classes, but I think it depends on my mood and what I have to do and what I get to do.

4. What is your favorite movie?
The Lord of the Rings trilogy, hands down! And only the Extended Version 'cause those are just so much better than the Theatrical Cuts. The Star Wars saga is a close second.

5. What are your top five soundtracks?
Aw, maaaaaan.... Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (John Williams) would be on that list, as would The Village (James Newton Howard), Avatar (James Horner), The Lord of the Rings (Howard Shore), and The Dark Knight (Hans Zimmer). But I love so many soundtracks that it would be extremely difficult to plug them into even a Top Twenty list.

6. What is your dream life?
My dream life would have to be getting married to an awesome hard-core Christian guy, directing awesome blockbuster films all over the world, travelling the world over multiple times, seeing my books on the New York Times Top Ten list, creating an MMO, maybe having a couple of kids, and (this one's, like, top priority) reaching the world fearlessly and boldly for Christ. It sure sounds like an impossible life but, hey, with God all things are possible! =D

7. What is/was your favorite subject in school and why?
I really like German, and I always have since I took my first German class in High School. I'd like to be fluent in at least one language, and since I'm part German and I used to live in Sitzenkirch I've basically decided that German is main language I'd love to become fluent in. Yes, it's kind of throaty sounding, but that's part of what I love about the language. It's just so unique, and it's clicking very fast and easily for me.

8. If you could go anywhere in the world but you had three seconds to decide, where would you go?
Germany! 'Nuff said.

9. Who would you prefer to live with: Hobbits or Elves?
Elves most definitely. They're just so awesome, despite the fact that they kinda act a little uppity.

10. Would you rather be in the Hunger Games or a Gladiator fight and why?
Well, I've never seen or read The Hunger Games (though I do know a lot about it), but I do like studying about ancient Roman gladiators (stop looking at me like that, lol!). I would only want to be in the Hunger Games if I was heavily trained in everything from survival to hand-to-hand combat. And I would only want to be in a gladitorial arena if I was allowed to face one person, the fight was not pre-scripted (yes, they did that), the fight was not actually a "play" in which the arena floor would be flooded and the "actors" would all die (that happened a lot, too), if I was heavily trained in every form of combat imaginable, and if I didn't have to wear the outfit that every female gladiator had to wear (which was no top, basically). Looking at that, I think I'll go with the Hunger Games...

11. Han Solo or Iron Man?
Definitely Han Solo. Iron Man is just plain annoying to me. I've never really liked him.

Now here are the 11 Questions that the people I tag will have to answer:

1. If you had the chance to live on Mars, would you do it? Why or why not?
2. What is your favorite song?
3. Would you rather play a video game or watch a movie, and why?
4. What is your favorite film genre?
5. Marvel or DC?
6. What are your favorite kinds of clothes to wear (cardigans, shots, cargo pants, etc.)?
7. Do you think society as a general rule is too wrapped up with celebrities and digging up dirt on said celebrities?
8. Woodchucks or Chipmunks?
9. What song keeps getting stuck in your head?
10. What is your least favorite book?
11. Ancient Rome or Ancient Greece?

I award:

helpusobi1
Raymond Mendiola IV
Duchess Satine of Mandalore
JediKnightGirl
Faith
Kayte O.
Shaak Ti

*happy sigh* It's good to be back! =D

Awesome Star Wars Blog Award!

Rules:

1. Post the Rules and the picture
2. Link back to and the person who gave you this award – Helen at Star Wars Here & There (thank you so much! =D)
3. Answer the questions
4. Share your favorite Star Wars picture(s)
5. Give the award to one other Star Wars blogger that you like

The Questions:
1. When did you see Star Wars for the first time?
Oh, dear, I'm not actually sure when I first saw Star Wars! I think I was about thirteen or fourteen, so maybe  four or five years ago? Something like that.

2. Which movie did you see first?
Attack of the Clones (the Spike channel was showing it for their annual Force of July telethon).

3. Who is responsible for you seeing Star Wars?
Burger King, actually. And, no, I'm serious! They had a line of Star Wars toys in their kids' meals one summer, and the pictures on the cups looked so cool that I really wanted to watch the movies. I had heard about it before (I think that anyone who has lived after 1977 has at least subconsciously), but I didn't quite "become aware" of the saga until, well, Burger King.

4. What is the first Star Wars thing you owned?
My Darth Vader color lightsaber, later replaced by my Anakin Skywalker color-changing 'saber. Ahsoka's got my old one.

5. What made you become a fan?
I literally have no idea, but I think that the story was so cool, the characters were so realistic, everything about it (well, except for the Force) was so interesting and new. I have always been a Star Trek fan (like, literally since I was about three or four), but Star Wars was something totally unique and different from any other sci-fi story I had ever watched or seen. I guess that's what drew me in and didn't let go.

6. Why did you decide to blog about Star Wars?
Well, I had a blog on my online class's Forums site and when I decided to move it to Blogger I started thinking, "Hey, why not stick in a Star Wars component?" So I did, and it's worked out tremendously well!

7. Which movie is your favorite?
Attack of the Clones, followed closely by The Empire Strikes Back and A New Hope.

8. Who is you favourite character?
Captain Rex, Boba Fett, and likely every other Jango Fett clone ever to set foot in the galaxy (well, except for Slick, but he's a jerk....)

9. Favourite villian?
Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine are tied for number one, but Darth Maul is also pretty awesome, as is Darth Nihilus.

10. What do you think of the Clone Wars cartoons?
While there are some episodes that are kind of dumb (then again, name one TV series that doesn't contain one dumb-er episode), the show overall is very good. It's one of my most favorite TV shows, and I am literally dying to see Season 5. Literally!

11. Which Star Wars book is your favorite?
The Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss is my number one favorite, but I also like Fatal Alliance and X-Wing: Mercy Kill.

12. If you could pick a group from Star Wars to be in (e.g. Jedi, Sith, Bounty Hunters, Senators, etc.) which you choose?
If I could, I would most definitely be part of the Grand Army of the Republic so I could work with clone troopers, but I would also settle for Mandalorians.

13. Would you join the Rebel Legion/501st Legion if you had a costume and/or were the right age?
Oh, yes! Actually, I'm waiting for the 501st to get back with me on a few questions I had, and then I'm off to fill out my application! Captain Rex armor, here I come! =D

14. Have you ever been to a Star Wars Weekend or Celebration? If so, describe you experience there.
Unfortunately, no, but both are on my Bucket List!

15. Have you ever met any Star Wars people (actors, George Lucas, John Williams, etc.)?
Not yet, but I hope to someday!

16. Prequel Trilogy or Original Trilogy?
Prequel all the way!

17. Jedi or Sith?
Oh, dear. Can I say Dark Jedi? 'Cause I've got problems with both Jedi and Sith philosophy....

18. Do you read Star Wars Insider Magazine?
No, it's too expensive.

19. What is your favourite song/score from any of the six movies?
So many to choose from! I love "Duel of the Fates," "Battle of the Heroes," "Padme's Ruminations," "Scaling the Cliff," "Obi-Wan to the Rescue," "The Imperial March," and so many others!

20. Which character do you most identify with (not who is your favorite; who are you most like)?
Probably Anakin, but it kind of depends on the situation. When I'm with family and friends, I'm more like Anakin. But when I'm with strangers or in a more formal situation, I tend to act more like a clone trooper (saying "yes, sir" all the time and showing little emotion).

21. What is your favorite non-human species in Star Wars?

Twi'Leks are awesome, as are Pureblood Sith (who aren't acutally pureblood, but whatever...), Togrutas, and Gands. I've also started becoming more interested in Yuzhan Vong lately.

22. Do you think Padmé could possibly have been Force-sensitive?
Uh, no. Never occured to me.

23. Who is your favorite Expanded Universe character?

RC-1207 Sev most definitely! But all of Delta Squad is amazing (better than Omega, imho)!

24. What lightsaber is your favorite?

Probably Zayne Carrick's.

25. Do you speak/read/write any Star Wars languages (Basic, Huttese, Mando'a, etc.)?
Well, I definitely speak Basic (I'm still working on the Aurebesh, though). I can also speak some Mando'a and a little Huttese. Though most of what I can say in Mando'a are words I wouldn't ever say... I can swear fluently in Mando'a but I can't ask where the bathroom is. How does that work?? =D

26. Which lightsaber duel from the movies is your favorite?
Hmmm, probably Yoda vs. Count Dooku, but I'm not sure...

27. What creature is your favorite?
Tauntauns! And Banthas! And Nerfs! They're so fluffy, I'm gonna DIE!!

28. Which is your favorite costume?
I love clone and Mandalorian armor, but I would probably wear most of Padme's outfits (even the ones that look rather ridiculous).

29. What is your favorite Star Wars quote?
Oh, dear. Probably "Luke, I am you father," despite the fact that it's so cliche.

Oh, and also Luke's reply of "NOOOOOOOOOO!" Classic. *nods*

30. What is on your Star Wars wish list?
- Go to Star Wars weekends
- Go to all of the subsequent Star Wars Celebrations
- Go to Rancho Obi-Wan
- Join the 501st Legion
- Finish my Captain Rex costume for the 501st (which I haven't started yet...)
- Have a Star Wars movie marathon
- Meet Daniel Logan
- Meet George Lucas
- Meet and marry a guy who's a strong Christian and who is just as crazy about Star Wars as I am (wow, that really cuts down the playing field.... lol! XD)
- Add Star Wars clothes to my wardrobe (can you believe that I have nothing SW-y to wear??!!)
- (And this is purely wishful thinking on my part, buuuut) Maybe being able to work on the Star Wars: Underworld TV show or on the new Star Wars trilogy. That. Would. Be. So. EPIC!!!

And for some of my favorite pictures.....

Versatile Blogger Award

Arda at In Western Lands has given me the Versatile Blogger Award!

Thank you so much, Arda! I really appreciate it! =D

And now I have to post seven random things about myself. So, without further ado.......

1. I'm playing an RPG, and my character's stats are not so hot. 5 Charisma. Bleh.... >.<
2. I laugh almost all the time. Literally.
3. I'm trying to figure out how to make clone armor so I can join the 501st Legion.
4. I don't like coffee. At all. Period. Exclamation point.
5. I like the Winter Olympics better than the Summer ones.
6. All of my invisible friends are clone troopers. Captain Rex is sitting next to me right now. He's saying "hi." lol! =D
7. I. Absolutely. Hate. Bugs. Ughhhhhh.... *shudders convulsively*

I give this award to:

Aayla Rain
Misty Kasumi

Beautiful Blogger Award

1) Thank the person who nominated you for this award: Thank you so much, Solace Utara! I really appreciate it! =D And all of you guys should go check out Solace's blog, Prophets of the Force. She's a great blogger! =D

2) Tell us how the idea of making a blog popped into your head and why you continue it: I got the idea to start my own blog from Savanna at Pandas, Lightsabers, and Cameras. I found her blog one day while messing around on the Internet, and I instantly loved it. I started blogging on the vbulletin site at my online school, and a lot of my fellow students liked it. After a while, though, I began toying with the idea of moving my blog on to Blogger and inserting a Star Wars element to it. I finally knuckled down and did it a few months ago, and I am so glad I did.

The main reason why I continue HNED is because of you guys, my Followers. You guys are so encouraging with your comments and, quite frankly, I couldn't ask for greater Followers than you. You guys have been a huge blessing to me! God bless you all! =D

3) Describe a usual day of your life: Pretty much your basic wake up, eat breakfast, change, brush teeth/hair, mess around on my laptop before school, do schoolwork, eat lunch, do more schoolwork, eat dinner, mess around on my laptop, maybe watch a TV show (like Monk), take a bath, eat a snack, write in one of my bazillions of notebooks, go to bed, repeat. But my routine will probably get shaken up a bit when I go to college this fall. =P

4) Best collaboration with a blogger(s): I'd have to say my current collaboration with Robyn at Simply Creative. She's currently redesigning my whole blog, and I'm so excited to be working with her!

5) Worst collaboration with blogger(s): Nothing yet.

6) Explain what having this blog means to you: It means a great deal to me because I get to connect with so many amazing people who share my love of movies, games, and Star Wars. It's so awesome to be able to blog about what I love and then to recieve such great comments and encouragement from people all over the world. It's so much fun to write and know that there are people out there who care about what I say and who will help me in my growth both as a Christian and as a blogger. It's so awesome!

7) Nominate 5 followers for this award: I would like to give this award to...

Thank you, again, for the award, Solace! And I hope you all are having fantastic summers! =D

I now have to post 7 random things about me, and then give the award to a few others. So, here we go:

2. I like to decorate cakes
3. I am a Marvel Comics geek
4. I love RPGs (Role-playing Games), and right now I'm playing as X-23 in a Marvel RPG.
5. I love hearing the collective surprised gasp that people do when I bring out my puppet (something about puppets just makes people want to do that =D)
6. I seriously love emoticons. o.O Yeah, seriously.... XP
7. If I can't think of anything to say, I will either say "Chicken" or ask you what your personal opinion of woodchucks is. Seriously. I do. =)
